Established by craftsmen Derek Wilson and John Galvin, Faolchu is a Scottish furniture company devoted to producing beautiful, timeless pieces distinguished by exceptional craftsmanship.
Instilled in every handcrafted piece produced in our Glasgow workshop, an understanding of our materials, a consideration to the function of furniture in our daily lives and emphasis on superior quality and construction, ensuring a long life.
All of our work is handmade using traditional methods with innovative thinking and evolving techniques by a small group of craftspeople guided by head designer/maker Derek Wilson.
We use a selection of quality hardwoods from around the world, though predominately native species from Scotland’s estates and woodlands, hand selected for their distinctive and unique characteristics. Hand-finished with natural oils and waxes, enhancing the grain and figure while maintaining a hand-feel appearance.
